CAD design

No file? We design the part together.

CNC machining requires a 3D model. If you do not have one, I take care of it: measurements, a photo or a sketch are enough. Even just the idea of what the part has to do is a fine starting point.

How it works

    Describe the part

    Measurements, photos, a paper sketch or the part to be replaced: any starting point works.

  2. 02

    We settle the details

    Together we settle dimensions, tolerances, material and how the part will be used: the step that prevents surprises later on.

  3. 03

    I build the 3D model

    I prepare the model and show it to you: we go over it together until it matches exactly what you need.

  4. 04

    Machining, or the file alone

    Once the model is approved I move on to the CNC machining. Or, if you would rather have it produced elsewhere, I deliver the file in STEP format, usable by any workshop.

What it costs

Design work € 15,00 / hour on the hours actually worked, estimated and agreed before I start

The design work is an additional cost on top of the price of the part. Before starting I tell you the expected hours, so the amount is clear from the outset.

Two ways to receive it

The file only

You pay for the design in full and receive the 3D model, ready to be produced wherever you prefer.

File + part machined by me

If you also entrust me with the machining, the design costs 50% less and you receive the file together with the finished part.

Example: Two hours of design at € 15,00 come to € 30,00. If I then do the machining, the design drops to € 15,00 and the file arrives together with the part.
